Comunicato Torneo Due Torri

Con la presente, spiace comunicare che il C.D. del Gruppo Oltretorrente nella riunione del 19 Maggio 2020, ha deciso di annullare l’ edizione 2020 del Torneo Internazionale Giovanile di baseball e softball “Due Torri” – Memorial “Mario Bacchi Stefani” e di rinviare il suo svolgimento a Luglio 2021.

Abbiamo come C.D. deciso dapprima di spostare la data di svolgimento da Luglio a Settembre , con la grande speranza di riuscire comunque ad organizzarlo seppur più piccolo, seppur in tono minore, seppure con sole squadre di Parma e provincia, ma poi successivamente abbiamo verificato – con grande dispiacere ma allo stesso tempo con un atto di grande responsabilità verso tutta la comunità – che l’ annullamento in via definitiva era la soluzione migliore, in quanto si ritiene che anche nel mese di settembre l’emergenza sanitaria Covid-19 non sarà totalmente terminata né a livello mondiale che nazionale.

La nostra speranza è quella di poter ritornare appena possibile sui campi da gioco, dando a tutti agli amici ed amiche appuntamento alla 35° edizione del Luglio 2021 per il nostro bellissimo torneo, cerando di organizzarlo sempre piu’ bello ed avvincente.

Torneremo tutti sui nostri amati campi a divertirci ancora più di prima.

We hereby regret to inform you that the Board of Directors of Oltretorrente Group, during the last council meeting held on May 19th, 2020, has decided to cancel the 2020 edition of the International Youth Baseball and Softball Tournament “Due Torri” – “Mario Bacchi Stefani” Memorial and to postpone it to July 2021.
We as Organizing Committee, first decided to postpone the date of the tournament from July to September, with the  hope to be able to organize it in a reshpaed format, reducing the number of teams involved and prioritizing teams coming from cities close to Parma.
As the ongoing health crisis keeps affecting our country and the whole world, we realized – with great regret but at the same time carrying great responsibility towards the whole community – that the best choice we could make was to cancel this year’s edition of the tournament, since we believe that even in September the Covid-19 health emergency will not be completely over, impacting the safety and health of everyone involved.
We sincerely hope to return to the playing fields as soon as possible, in the meanwhile we wish you all a safe and healthy summer. We will be waiting for you at the 35th edition of July 2021 for our tournament, it will be our mission to make it even more special next year.
We hope you can understand the choice we have made and we cannot wait to see you again on our fields soon.
